Carl Stiansen: Archaeology can open up a window on the world as it was, a chance to explore how we lived in days gone by… and the dig at Felton, Northumberland, is revealing more and more about Anglo-Saxon life. Wor Steve Lowe’s a volunteer there and he’s been chatting about the site and the finds with Doctor (Dr) Jane Harrison from Community Archaeology North.
