Carl Stiansen: Archaeological digs offer a chance to discover so many things about the past and how we lived… and the digs on Lindisfarne have been revelatory. I caught up with David Petts, Associate Professor in the Department of Archaeology, at Durham University, for an update on the amazing finds of the DigVentures team on Holy Island.

Carl Stiansen: Keeping and improving a garden’s structure can be a bit of an artform but we can all follow some basic rules to keep us and the garden right, and here’s the second part of Tom’s tips for pruning and how and when to cut back clematis.
