Carl Stiansen: We have a saying here in the north of England: ‘gan canny’ which means a variety of things: goodbye and be well, take it easy, take care… depends on the context and tone. Well, here’s Tom Pattinson with some excellent ‘gan canny and take it steady’ advice on gardening and why it’s really important to keep safety to the fore…
